Welcome to Friedman, Rubin & White.
In 1982, Rick Friedman and Jeff Rubin started a firm
dedicated to mastering the art and science of winning jury
trials. Over the years, they put together a team of
talented attorneys and staff similarly devoted to excellence
in representing individuals and small businesses at trial.
The firm became Friedman, Rubin & White.
Today, lawyers from all parts of the country hire FRW to
take their important cases to trial. These lawyers
place their confidence in FRW’s trial experience and proven
ability to get outstanding results. They trust that
FRW will honor our relationship with them and represent our
common client in accordance with the highest standards of
our profession.
As detailed in other parts of this website, FRW’s long
track record of obtaining full and fair recoveries for our
clients dovetails with our mission to serve the public
interest and achieve, through individual victories, a
greater good for the society we all share. The people
at FRW believe trial lawyers have a crucial part to play in
policing Corporate America - making sure that big business
follows the same rules the rest of us live by. No one
can put a corporation in jail. But, an educated,
motivated jury can take the profit out of breaking the
rules. In that way, corporate practices can be
changed, corporations can be reformed, and the economic
playing field can be kept level and fair.
Punitive damages take the profit out of corporate
rule-breaking. Punitive damages, which the law allows
only in cases of egregiously bad behavior, accomplish
important societal goals. They punish and deter
rule-breakers. They serve as an example to others that
rule-breaking is not cost-effective. They reassure the
corporations who do play by the rules that the cheaters will
ultimately have to pay.
FRW’s punitive damage verdicts have changed the way some
of this country's largest corporations do business.
Ultimately, this results in fewer victims and fewer
lawsuits.
Rick Friedman, a nationally acclaimed trial lawyer and
author, serves as FRW’s chief and mentor. The firm has
offices located in Anchorage, Alaska and Bremerton,
Washington, but the firms’ lawyers are available to try
cases nationwide. Upon request, FRW can provide
references from nearly any part of the country as to our
lawyers’ and staff’s skill and professionalism.
Whether your case involves insurance bad faith,
catastrophic medical, legal, or other professional liability
cases, personal injury (auto accidents, product liability
and design defects), wrongful death or complex commercial
litigation, anywhere in the United States, FRW may be able
to help. While we only accept a small number of cases
each year, we screen many cases and we bring a strong
commitment to each case we accept. Please take time to read about our successes
and review our credentials.
Our legal fees are usually contingent. This means
that there is no charge for our firm's time until the case
is successfully concluded.
We welcome internet inquiries from potential clients and
from other lawyers.
